Oak lintels are horizontal structural beams used to support the weight of walls above openings like windows, doors, and fireplaces. Renowned for their strength and durability, they offer a traditional, rustic aesthetic that often improves with age.

Air-Dried Oak: These beams have been seasoned naturally for 2 to 5 years. This process reduces moisture content, making them more stable and less prone to significant movement or shrinkage once installed.

Planed Finish: The weathered surface is removed to reveal the wood’s natural golden-oak colour and smooth texture we then ease the edges with traditional tools removing the sapwood on the corners and then we oil the lintel with ‘Danish oil’.
